As a Data Engineer at Hyde, you will play an important role in helping us become a more data-driven organisation. You will design, build and maintain high-quality data pipelines, ensuring reliable information is available to support reporting, decision-making and innovation across the business.

Key Duties

• Design, build and maintain data pipelines to support analytics, reporting and AI/ML capabilities.
• Develop batch and real-time data processing pipelines using modern tools and frameworks.
• Apply data transformation, cleansing and validation techniques to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Monitor pipeline performance, resolve incidents and maintain data availability and service levels.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders, analysts and engineers to deliver effective data solutions.

As a Data Engineer we’re seeking someone who can bring:

• Proven experience designing and developing data pipelines using SQL, Python or similar languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality delivery.
• A proactive mindset and passion for using data to improve services, decision-making and customer outcomes.
• The ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver effective data solutions.
• Working knowledge of data warehousing, cloud platforms such as Snowflake or AWS, CI/CD, Git and DevOps practices.
