About the Role

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 11:30 AM - 8:30 PM Manila Time

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to own and evolve the infrastructure that powers our AI platform and supporting services. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining a reliable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud environment on AWS, with Docker-based workloads at its core.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys the full lifecycle of infrastructure work — from provisioning and automation to monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement. You will partner closely with engineering, AI/ML, and product teams to ship reliably and scale gracefully.

What qualities are we seeking?

• 3-6 years experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud, or Platform Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (compute, networking, storage)
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK)
• Strong expertise in Docker (build, optimize, troubleshoot containers)
• Production experience with ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes
• Strong scripting skills (Bash (Preferred) and Python or Go)
• Solid Linux administration, networking fundamentals, and Git workflows
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools in production
• Ability to deploy, manage, and troubleshoot across mobile (Flutter), web (React), and backend (Python/FastAPI) environments - Infra
• Exposure to or strong interest in operating AI/LLM workloads in production - Claude/ ChatGPT/ etc.

What does a typical day look like?

• Responsible for designing, deploying, and managing secure, scalable, and cost-efficient AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK). Oversees core AWS services including compute, networking, storage, databases, security, monitoring, and container platforms (ECS/EKS, Docker, ECR).
• Builds and maintains CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, containerization, security scanning, and deployment processes, ensuring reliable and zero-downtime releases. Implements observability, incident response, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies to maintain platform reliability and performance.
• Applies cloud security best practices across IAM, secrets management, encryption, network security, compliance, and data protection requirements. Supports generative AI and ML infrastructure on AWS, including Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, GPU-based workloads, vector databases, RAG architectures, and model deployment pipelines, while optimizing performance and cost.
• Collaborates closely with engineering teams to deliver reliable infrastructure, create operational documentation, and mentor developers on DevOps practices, deployment standards, and cloud cost optimization.
