Forward Deployed Engineer

At Adroiti, we partner with ambitious companies to solve the technical problems that sit between "this should work" and "this actually works in production." We don't build software from the sidelines - we embed with our partners, get close to their systems and their people, and ship solutions that hold up under real business pressure.

We're building out our bench of Forward Deployed Engineers - senior engineers who can step into a partner's environment, understand a messy real-world problem fast, and build (and ship) the solution themselves. This isn't a standard engineering role behind a product backlog. You'll be embedded with a client, working directly with their teams, often under time pressure, turning "what we actually need" into working software.

We're opening this pipeline ahead of specific engagements - expect a conversation now, and a fast-moving opportunity once the right project lands.

The Role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll be the technical face of Adroiti inside a partner's organization - not shipping features into someone else's roadmap, but solving one customer's real problem end-to-end, often starting from ambiguity.

What You'll Do

• Embed directly with partner teams to understand their workflows, systems, and constraints firsthand
• Rapidly prototype and ship custom solutions that close the gap between what a platform does today and what the business actually needs
• Own delivery end-to-end - from technical discovery and architecture decisions through deployment and handover
• Work directly with client stakeholders, translating business problems into technical requirements with no product layer in between
• Debug and build inside unfamiliar production systems under real deadline pressure
• Push back with data when a client's ask isn't the right fix for their actual problem
• Feed lessons learned back to Adroiti's internal teams to sharpen how we scope and staff future engagements

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on, full-stack engineering experience, including in high-ambiguity or fast-moving environments
• A track record of shipping real solutions to production - not just prototypes or internal tools
• Comfort working directly with clients or stakeholders: strong communication, executive presence, and the confidence to disagree constructively
• A builder's mindset - low ego, high ownership, genuinely energized by solving someone else's hard problem
• Hands-on experience with AI technologies and a genuine passion for AI adoption - practical knowledge of LLMs and AI-assisted development tools, and experience integrating AI capabilities into real products
• Fluent in English

Nice to Have

• Experience in consulting, solutions engineering, or an early-startup environment
• Exposure to AI/ML-enabled products or enterprise AI deployments
• Prior experience as a forward deployed engineer, technical consultant, or solutions architect

Salary

Hourly rate from 35 EUR based on skills and experience.
