Exciting Opportunity for a Designer at Our Client's Organisation!

Are you a creative and innovative Designer looking to make a significant impact in the world of product design? Our client is seeking a talented individual to join their dynamic team, where you will be at the forefront of developing design solutions for cutting-edge products. This is an exciting chance to integrate your design expertise with a brand renowned for its excellence.

Position Overview: As a Designer, you will deliver compelling design proposals that embody brand values and strategic vision. You will engage in both 2D and 3D design, utilising advanced tools and techniques to create high-quality visuals that meet technical and ergonomic standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Development: - Create innovative design proposals in 2D (sketches, renderings) and 3D (CAD models, digital media). - Analyse technical information to troubleshoot issues during development, ensuring high aesthetic quality. - Collaborate with the Lead Designer and cross-functional teams, adhering to the Product Emergence Process (PEP).

1. Project Delivery: - Assist in planning project timelines and objectives in coordination with the Design or Project Manager. - Report on design status during team meetings, ensuring alignment with project goals. - Supervise design proposals, both in-house and with external partners, delivering on time and within project parameters.

1. 3D Design Development: - Lead the development of 3D design proposals, creating both physical and digital models. - Coordinate the timely procurement of necessary documentation for design input and model development. - Ensure that all technical parameters and project inputs are seamlessly integrated.

1. Team Collaboration: - Work effectively within a cross-functional team environment, enhancing creative output. - Navigate incomplete or imbalanced information, achieving consensus and implementing design solutions. - Clearly communicate design concepts and rationales to colleagues and stakeholders.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven ability to develop forward-thinking and innovative design proposals.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a flair for creative solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting ideas at all levels within the organisation.
• Proficient in 2D and 3D design software, including Photoshop and CAD applications.
• Up-to-date knowledge of competitor design trends and state-of-the-art technologies in your field.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and the Product Emergence Process (PEP).
• Photoshop/indesign/ Adobe Suite
• Colour/material and finish experience
• Understanding of detailing
