About the Role:

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer who combines strong hands-on engineering capability with technical leadership. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving challenging technical problems, influencing engineering direction, mentoring others, and working directly with stakeholders while remaining actively involved in coding and delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership & Architecture: Own cross-system architectural decisions, balance scalability with delivery speed, and champion best practices in security, performance, and observability.
• Full Stack Engineering: Design, build, and deploy production-grade software using some of the latest tech stacks.
• Cloud & Platform Engineering: Architect scalable microservices on AWS, driving CI/CD automation, container orchestration, and DevOps excellence.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate directly with clients, PMs, and designers to translate business requirements into pragmatic technical solutions.
• Team Enablement: Mentor engineers through code reviews, design critiques, and capability-building initiatives to elevate overall team standards.

Qualifications & Required Skills:

• You have between 10 - 20 years of professional software engineering experience with demonstrated technical lead capabilities.
• Deep expertise in some of the core tech stacks across TypeScript, NodeJS, React, and relational data modeling.
• Extensive proven track record in system architecture across Microservices, API design, Event-Driven Architectures, and high-availability Distributed Systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cloud platforms especially in AWS, Container Orchestration via Docker and/or Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Observability Frameworks.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills where you will be able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experienced in a consulting or client-facing environment.
• Nice to have some background in Platform Engineering or Developer Experience (DevEx) initiatives.
