Hardware Engineer

Job Responsibilities - Perform firmware updates and lifecycle management for server hardware; - Troubleshoot hardware and infrastructure-related issues (servers, components, connectivity); - Support provisioning and decommissioning of bare metal servers; - Work with out-of-band management interfaces (IPMI / iDRAC / iLO or similar); - Apply and maintain hardware configuration standards and profiles; - Participate in incident response and root cause analysis; - Contribute to development of operational processes and documentation (SOPs); - Collaborate with infrastructure, network and devops teams; - Participate in evaluation and selection of hardware configurations (CPU, RAM, storage, components); - Contribute to infrastructure scaling and hardware standardization; - Participate in on-call rotations; Requirements You’ll thrive here if you have - Hands-on experience with server hardware in production environments; - Understanding of data center infrastructure fundamentals ; - Experience with hardware lifecycle management (firmware, components, replacements); - Familiarity with out-of-band management tools (IPMI / iDRAC / iLO or similar); - Strong troubleshooting skills; - Experience in writing technical documentation or operational procedures; - Willingness to participate in on-call rotations; - Understanding of server hardware configurations and component selection; - Experience or interest in contributing to infrastructure design and scaling decisions; - Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (L2/L3).
