SKILLS REQUIRED

Primary (Must-Have):

• AWS Security Architect – Security services like IAM, Amazon Macie, and Amazon GuardDuty

• AWS Cloud – VPC Networking, firewall setup, and threat detection

• Enterprise Security Architecture Design Experience – Proven expertise in designing secure AWS enterprise environments

Secondary (Good to Have):

• Palo Alto Prisma Airs / Prisma Cloud Experience | Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) exposure

• Security architecture experience in large regulated enterprises | Cross-cloud security knowledge (AWS + Azure)

POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to security leadership within the IT security department, this position acts as a trusted AWS Security Advisor to solve critical cloud infrastructure challenges. The incumbent will provide high-level security architecture guidance, define robust governance standards, and drive strategic implementation initiatives for complex enterprise security tools.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as a trusted AWS Security Advisor to Sedgwick's security leadership | Provide security architecture guidance across AWS and broader security domains

• Help define security policies, standards, procedures, and strategic decisions | Support multiple new security initiatives and tool implementations

• Design secure enterprise cloud architectures and establish robust network segmentation, security groups, and transit gateways

• Evaluate new technologies and security products rapidly | Translate complex technical risks into strategic business recommendations for executive stakeholders

• Operate effectively with ambiguous requirements and minimal direction to drive large-scale transformation initiatives
