AI Platform Manager

As the GC AI Platform Owner, your role goes beyond simply following the AI roadmap — you actually build the infrastructure that brings it to life. You lead the core platform layer that makes every AI project secure, cost-efficient, and ready to scale across IHG's tech organization. In Greater China, you'll build and run the enterprise-grade AI foundation and colleague productivity tools. More than just providing computing power, you serve as the technical gatekeeper for AI compliance, ensuring that proof-of-concepts smoothly evolve into cost-effective, large-scale production systems. Your day to day

• Enterprise AI Platform Strategy Leveraging the global AI architecture and governance framework, an AI platform is built using Alibaba Cloud PAI to support domestic large language models (such as Qwen) and enable model inference within China; this involves managing the full lifecycle of generative AI (LLMOps) while optimizing inference acceleration and computing costs. Build a production-grade, enterprise-scale AI platform supporting domestically aligned LLMs for in-China inference, ensuring it is secure, cost-efficient, and scalable.
• Colleague Productivity AI Tolling Matrix & Agentic Tooling Govern and scale a multi-tiered AI toolset to turn colleagues into active AI creators. Manage the localized adoption of tools including Qoder/QoderWork, GitHub Copilot, Figma AI, Jira Rovo, and MS Copilot Premium. Enable low-code/no-code internal agentic AI orchestration for corporate self-service, accelerating an AI-powered Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• AI Governance & RUC Enforcement Follow the enterprise AI governance and AI architecture standards, ensure compliance with the tiered approval process, Implement AI Gateways to centrally manage model API calls, enforcing AI prompt/output filtering, privacy redaction, and compliance audits for all internal and consumer-facing applications.

What we need from you

• Education & Modern Tech Stack Experience Act as the technical enforcement arm of the AI Responsible Use Committee (RUC). Implement AI Gateways to centrally manage model API calls, enforcing prompt filtering, privacy redaction, and compliance audits for all internal and consumer-facing applications, with a track record of building ML/AI infrastructure and platforms at an enterprise scale. Deep fluency in Agentic AI lifecycle management, Alibaba Cloud AI Studio, and AI platform observability.
• Governance Mindset Ability to balance innovation velocity with enterprise risk, maintaining robust architecture standards while navigating China’s complex GenAI regulatory landscape.
• Tooling & Industry Know-How Expertise in scaling enterprise productivity tools (e.g., M365 Copilot, Jira Rovo, Figma AI etc.) and driving adoption strategies across non-technical domains. Familiarity with integrating global legacy systems (CRS, PMS) with agile local digital ecosystems. Proven ability to architect systems that natively support strict data sovereignty and localization laws.
• Language & Certifications Fluent in English and Mandarin (both written and verbal). Professional certifications such as Cloud and Agile PMP certificates.
