Position Overview

Client is building a strategic Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) practice to support current and future client engagements focused on AI transformation, intelligent automation, Generative AI, and AI-enabled solutions. We are seeking Forward Deployed Engineers / AI Solutions Engineers who can work closely with clients to understand complex business and technical challenges and translate them into practical, scalable AI solutions. This is a client-facing, solution-oriented role that combines AI/ML expertise, software engineering fundamentals, consulting, and hands-on solution implementation. Candidates should be comfortable moving from understanding a business problem to designing, configuring, integrating, and deploying an AI-enabled solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner directly with clients and stakeholders to understand business challenges, technical requirements, and desired outcomes.
• Translate business and technical requirements into AI-enabled solutions, workflows, and automation.
• Design, develop, configure, and deploy AI agents, Generative AI solutions, intelligent workflows, and AI/ML pipelines.
• Leverage modern AI platforms, frameworks, APIs, cloud services, and automation tools to accelerate solution delivery.
• Integrate AI solutions with existing enterprise applications, platforms, APIs, and data environments.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, product, cybersecurity, and client teams to drive successful implementation.
• Support AI solutions through proof of concept, implementation, production deployment, and operationalization.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through AI, automation, and intelligent decision-making.
• Communicate technical concepts and solution approaches clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to reusable solution patterns, accelerators, and best practices for Xoriant's FDE practice.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Software Engineering, Cloud, MLOps, DevOps, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience working with one or more of the following:
• Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
• Generative AI / Large Language Models (LLMs)
• AI Agents / Agentic AI
• RAG and AI-powered applications
• MLOps / AI Pipelines
• Cloud Platforms
• DevOps / Automation
• APIs and enterprise integrations
• Strong understanding of software engineering concepts, APIs, system integration, and modern technology architectures.
• Experience using AI tools, platforms, frameworks, or cloud services to build or implement intelligent solutions.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• Strong communication, consulting, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a client-facing environment and adapt to different customer technologies and business requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Python or another modern programming language.
• Experience with LLM platforms, AI agent frameworks, RAG, vector databases, or AI orchestration.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, MLOps, or cloud-native architectures.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise applications and APIs.
• Consulting, professional services, systems integration, or customer-facing engineering experience.
• Experience taking AI solutions from POC to production.
