About the Role

We are working with an innovative technology company that are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who serves as both a technical authority and a hands-on developer. In this role, you’ll be the critical connection between client strategy and technical execution, partnering closely with clients and delivery teams to turn business objectives into high-quality, scalable, and sustainable technology solutions.

You’ll bring deep experience architecting and building production-grade applications, working across modern cloud environments, and solving complex technical challenges. Just as importantly, you’ll bring a strong curiosity about generative AI and how AI can transform the software development lifecycle.

This is a role for someone who enjoys moving seamlessly between deep-focus engineering, technical architecture, problem-solving, and high-level client collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to understand business objectives, technical requirements, and opportunities for innovation.
• Translate client strategy and business needs into pragmatic technical solutions and architectures.
• Architect, develop, deploy, and maintain production-grade full stack applications.
• Serve as a technical leader and trusted advisor to both clients and internal delivery teams.
• Bridge the gap between strategy and implementation, ensuring solutions are technically sound, scalable, secure, and maintainable.
• Lead technical discovery, architecture discussions, and solution design.
• Work hands-on across the full software development lifecycle, from concept and prototyping through production deployment.
• Leverage cloud-native technologies and modern engineering practices to deliver enterprise-scale solutions.
• Explore and apply AI and generative AI technologies to improve products, workflows, and the software development lifecycle.
• Use AI coding agents and AI-driven development practices to accelerate delivery while maintaining engineering quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor other developers, and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience building and deploying production applications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proven experience architecting and delivering enterprise-scale, full stack solutions.
• Hands-on experience with AI models and AI-powered applications, beyond AI coding tools.
• Proficiency with Python, TypeScript, BigQuery, and Vertex AI.
• Strong experience with AI-driven development and AI coding agents.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and modern cloud architectures.
• Strong understanding of scalable, secure, reliable software engineering practices.
• Strong communication and client-facing consulting skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
• Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical judgment.
• Ability to lead and influence teams without formal authority.
• Passion for generative AI and emerging technologies and their impact on software development.
