DevOps Engineer - Agentic AI Platform

This is a position suitable for passionate professionals who want to work for a leading European Insurance Group on a very flexible work schedule.

You will work as part of a multinational group with true, large, enterprise-wide systems, complex architectures and real life constraints (speed, performance, non-stop systems availability) and are going to be part of an agile team aimed at designing and implementing enterprise level solutions.

• Contract duration: permanent
• Schedule: full-time (8 hrs/day, Monday to Friday)

Your responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD and GitOps-based deployment capabilities for the Agentic AI Platform.
• Automate cloud infrastructure and platform environments using Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform and/or Bicep.
• Operate and improve container-based runtime environments, deployment templates, environment isolation, configuration, and secrets management.
• Create secure delivery pipelines for platform services, agent components, prompts, configurations, and model-related artefacts.
• Implement automated quality, dependency, container, and security checks as part of the software supply chain.
• Enable controlled promotion, versioning, rollback, and release governance across development, test, and production environments.
• Integrate observability, auditability, and operational readiness checks into deployment processes.
• Collaborate with Framework Engineering, AI Engineering, Architecture, Security, and SRE to industrialize platform delivery.

Required skills

• Several years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud engineering, or site reliability engineering for enterprise systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or comparable CI/CD platforms, Git, pipeline-as-code, artefact management, and automated testing.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Bicep and with Azure cloud resources.
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes, preferably AKS, including deployment, configuration, networking, identity, and security.
• Experience implementing secure software supply chains, dependency scanning, container scanning, secrets management, and policy controls.
• Understanding of deployment needs for AI and LLM-based applications, including prompt/configuration versioning, evaluation gates, and model access configuration.
• Good knowledge of observability, resilience, release management, and multi-environment operations.
• Strong automation mindset, troubleshooting skills, ownership, documentation discipline, and English communication skills.
