About the Role

Our client's global network infrastructure relies on thousands of external partners — internet

service providers (ISPs), colocation facilities, hardware vendors, and managed service

providers. We're building a centralized platform to manage all of these relationships,

contacts, and service data in one place.

What You'll Do

Build Workflow Automation

  • Design and implement automated workflows for partner onboarding, contact updates, service renewals, and data lifecycle management.
  • Create self-service tools that allow operations teams to perform bulk data operations without needing engineering support.
  • Build automated alerting for stale data, missing information, or expiring service agreements.

Develop Data Pipelines & Integrations

  • Build ETL pipelines that synchronize partner data across multiple internal systems.
  • Automate the migration of legacy data from spreadsheets, wikis, and siloed databases into the centralized platform.
  • Develop reconciliation scripts to detect discrepancies between systems and maintain data consistency.

Automate Operational Processes

  • Build tools that auto-retrieve relevant partner contacts during network incidents, reducing response time.
  • Create automated escalation and outreach workflows triggered by network events.
  • Develop runbook automation to standardize and speed up repetitive operational tasks.

Monitor & Report

  • Build dashboards tracking data quality, freshness, and platform adoption.
  • Implement automated health checks and audit scripts to detect duplicates, orphaned records, or incomplete entries.
  • Create scheduled reports for leadership on automation ROI and data integrity metrics.

  • Understanding of data quality principles (validation, deduplication, reconciliation)
  • Comfortable working with large datasets across multiple source systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Preferred:

  • Experience with PHP or Hack (server-side scripting)
  • Familiarity with graph databases or relationship/entity management systems.
  • Experience with CRM, MDM (Master Data Management), or vendor management platforms.
  • Understanding of network infrastructure concepts (ISPs, peering, colocation, Points of Presence).
  • Experience with Thrift or similar RPC frameworks.
  • Background in telecom, network operations, or infrastructure services.
  • Experience automating processes in a large-scale enterprise environment.
