Lead DevOps Engineer (Infra+Venerability)

Tile: DevOps Engineer(Infra+Vunerability) (8+ years) -1

Location: PiscatAway, NJ

Position type: W2 contract.

Ps: Tech + DevOps Lead ( 8+ yrs In DevOps , 3-4 years as hands on lead Overall 10+ Yrs exp needed)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight for High and Critical vulnerability remediation efforts as per agreed upon milestones.
• Review remediation plans and ensure alignment with security and operational requirements.
• Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex remediation challenges.
• Provide oversight to patching, configuration hardening activities
• Integrate vulnerability management tools with CI/CD and DevOps pipelines.
• Improve remediation efficiency through scripting and automation.
• Work closely with Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Database Teams, Application Support Teams etc..
• Review remediation exceptions and risk acceptance requests.
• Present technical status updates to leadership and customer stakeholders
• Escalate critical risks and remediation challenges.
• Develop dashboards and reports showing risk reduction progress.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of Infrastructure, DevOps, or Platform Engineering experience.
• 3+ years leading vulnerability remediation initiatives.
• Strong experience across: Windows and Linux Servers, Cloud Platforms (AWS), Vulnerability Management Platforms, and Automation/Scripting
• Cloud or security certifications preferred
