SDET (Networking, Python)

About The Role

As an SDET, you will design and implement automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, and orchestration tools that ensure the reliability of our next-generation Network Operating System (NOS). You'll act as the engineering link between developers and testers, writing robust test frameworks and simulation environments to validate functionality at scale.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement automated test frameworks for NOS features and protocols.
• Extend CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and automated regression testing.
• Write and maintain Python and Bash code for simulation, orchestration, and validation.
• Build automated test suites using pytest, nose, or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers to build test hooks into new features.
• Debug test failures and improve test reliability and performance.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in networking or systems testing.
• Strong Python coding skills (classes, decorators, threading).
• Experience with pytest or nose (test case structuring, fixtures, reporting).
• Familiarity with Linux OS internals, containers, and virtualization.
• Hands-on experience with Ethernet/IP networking fundamentals (BGP, OSPF, ACLs).
• Proficiency with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred).
