The Role

You will be responsible for delivering actionable insights across the customer lifecycle, helping the business better understand subscriber behaviour and improve key commercial metrics.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyse customer journeys and subscription funnels to identify conversion opportunities and reduce drop-off.
• Track and report on subscription, retention, and engagement metrics through dashboards and regular performance analysis.
• Conduct deep-dive investigations into customer behaviour, retention trends, and audience engagement patterns.
• Develop and refine Lifetime Value (LTV) models to support strategic decision-making.
• Build and enhance churn prediction models to identify at-risk customers and improve retention outcomes.
• Work with large-scale datasets to uncover trends and generate actionable recommendations.
• Partner with product, growth, marketing, and engineering teams to define success metrics and measure performance.
• Ensure high-quality data capture and support improvements to data collection processes.
• Present analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience in data analytics, customer analytics, lifecycle analytics, or subscription analytics.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience working in cloud-based data warehouse environments.
• Experience creating data models and transforming raw event data into analysis-ready datasets.
• Strong dashboarding and reporting experience using BI tools such as Looker Studio or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques including cohort analysis, experimentation, regression, survival analysis, and predictive modelling.
• Experience developing LTV, retention, or churn analysis frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex insights and influence stakeholders across multiple business functions.
• Experience with Python or R would be beneficial.
• Exposure to web or app analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel would be advantageous.
