Senior Linux Platform & Blockchain Operations Engineer

We are hiring a Senior Linux Platform and Blockchain Operations Engineer to support, enhance, and continuously improve Linux-based infrastructure used for blockchain-related workloads. We welcome applications from candidates who have strong Linux fundamentals, operational discipline, and adaptability required in the dynamic environment of blockchain and crypto platform development. We also require a strong learning mindset and a proactive approach to ownership and continuous improvement.

You will have the following responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and continuously improve Linux-based infrastructure supporting blockchain and related platform services
• Deploy, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot blockchain nodes and supporting platform components across multiple environments
• Ensure service availability, reliability, scalability, and performance through proactive monitoring, alert management, and capacity planning
• Drive automation of operational tasks, deployments, and recurring maintenance activities
• Implement and continuously enhance observability solutions and operational visibility
• Collaborate closely with platform, security, networking, and engineering teams to deliver resilient and secure services
• Execute routine maintenance activities and contribute to operational excellence initiatives
• Follow and improve operational procedures, runbooks, and change management processes
• Support access management, security controls, and compliance-related operational activities in accordance with internal policies and standards
• Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to incident response and service restoration activities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive Linux fundamentals and proven experience with cloud-based Linux operations
• Experience operating and supporting Linux services in production environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills for incidents, performance bottlenecks, and service degradation
• Scripting and automation experience in at least one language (Bash, Python, or equivalent)
• Proficiency with source code management systems and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Hands-on experience with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Solid understanding of networking and security fundamentals (SSH, access controls, patching, and firewall concepts)
• Ability to document operational activities, incidents, changes, and lessons learned in a clear and structured manner
• Strong communication skills and effective collaboration across operations, platform, engineering, and security teams
• A proactive mindset with a focus on reliability, automation, and continuous improvement

Nice-to-Have:

• Exposure to blockchain node operations (deployment, synchronization, upgrades, and monitoring)
• Experience operating infrastructure in cloud and managed service environments
• Participation in incident response, root cause analysis, post-incident reviews, and reliability improvement initiatives
• Understanding of compliance-oriented operations (change evidence, access review support, audit readiness)
• Proficiency in container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes)
