Solutions Architect

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Solutions Architect to join one of our top clients in the Cleveland area. This individual will play a key role in developing infrastructure strategy, creating technical roadmaps, and designing scalable solutions across the organization's private cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windows infrastructure and VMware technologies, with a passion for automation and Infrastructure as Code. Responsibilities will include evaluating current-state environments, implementing modernization initiatives, improving operational efficiency through automation, and providing architectural guidance for infrastructure platforms. This individual will serve as a technical leader focused on the ongoing evolution and optimization of Parker's private cloud infrastructure. This role is roughly 130-150K

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years of experience in Information Technology

• Strong experience supporting and architecting within Windows-based environments

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation initiatives

• Advanced VMware administration and troubleshooting experience (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)

• Bachelor's Degree

• Manufacturing industry experience

• Experience supporting large enterprise or Fortune 1000 environments

• Linux/Unix administration experience
