Location: Richfield, Ohio, US. 4 days in office, 1 day remote

Type: Full-time, direct hire

Salary: $85,000 to $100,000 (flexible for the right candidate)

For more than 20 years we've built enterprise software that organizations rely on, and we're still growing. Our SaaS platform pairs a modern product experience with training automation and built-in AI, and we're investing in the team that builds it.

This is a hands on engineering role on a small, close knit product development team, reporting to the Director of Product Development. As the team grows, there's a clear path for the right person to step into a team lead role.

Stack

• Frontend: Vue / Nuxt, JavaScript / TypeScript
• Backend: Java (Spring), Docker, CI/CD
• Infrastructure as code: Terraform
• Cloud: AWS (ECS, EC2, SQS, RDS, S3) or equivalent

What You'll Do

• Design and ship core internal and customer facing tools across the full stack.
• Build automated platform services and workflows.
• Architect and tune the APIs, databases, and platform services behind complex enterprise workflows.
• Own features end to end, including testing, validation, and thorough documentation.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and uphold code quality through rigorous reviews.
• Improve platform reliability, data traceability, and advanced reporting.

Nice To Haves

• A BS degree plus experience building business critical applications.
• Strong fundamentals in an object oriented language (Java strongly preferred).
• A proven ability to design and maintain enterprise grade software.
• Hands on experience with cloud services (AWS or Azure).
• Experience developing and maintaining APIs.
