Software Developer (AI )

What we're looking for

We’re looking for a developer who can move quickly, communicate clearly, and take ownership the way we do.

• 3+ years of professional software development
• Strong, proven skill with AI-assisted coding: you know how to prompt, check, and fix AI-generated code
• A track record of quickly learning unfamiliar platforms and codebases
• Experience with APIs, web apps, and integrations (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python preferred)
• Excellent written English and consistent communication
• Able to overlap at least 4 hours a day with US Eastern Time
• Bonus: experience with LMS or training platforms, or with manufacturing or regulated industries

Projects

Steuart Nutrition is a GMP-certified contract manufacturer producing powders, liquids, capsules, and stick packs for growing wellness brands. We build and improve internal tools to support our plant and office teams, and we also run on Extreme Ownership, clear communication, and fast turnaround. In this role, we’ll bring you in to own and customize a training app for learning, onboarding, and ongoing enablement—then expand your scope into additional internal tools and automations as you ramp up.

The role

We’re hiring a remote developer to own the customization of our training app. You’ll learn the platform quickly, then build what our teams need to train and onboard people. Over time, you’ll take on other internal tools and automations.AI-assisted development is central to how we work. You’ll use AI tools to write and ship better code faster, while also turning real-world needs into reliable solutions.

• Learn our training app inside and out, then customize and extend it
• Build features, integrations, and automations with AI coding tools like Claude, Cursor, Copilot, and Grok
• Turn rough requests from the plant and office teams into working solutions
• Document your work so others can use it and maintain it
• Give regular, clear progress updates

About us

We run on Extreme Ownership, clear communication, and fast turnaround. This is a remote role with expectations to overlap at least 4 hours per day with US Eastern Time. We also center AI-assisted development as part of how we work—so you’ll have the space to use AI tools to build, iterate, and ship efficiently.
