Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Python Developer with 12+ years of software development experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications and backend services. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Python, API development, microservices, cloud platforms, databases, and modern DevOps practices. The candidate will work closely with architects, developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Python.
• Develop scalable and secure RESTful APIs and microservices using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into efficient software solutions.
• Design and implement reusable, maintainable, and high-performance Python components.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Develop integrations with internal and external systems using REST APIs, JSON, XML, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
• Implement automated unit and integration testing using PyTest, unittest, and other testing frameworks.
• Work with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform to develop and deploy cloud-based applications.
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy/manage workloads using Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Participate in CI/CD implementation using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on infrastructure automation, monitoring, logging, and deployment processes.
• Work with messaging and streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS, or similar platforms.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and development best practices.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide technical guidance to the development team.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, technical discussions, and production support activities.

Required Technical Skills

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Python 3.x.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, Algorithms, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar Python frameworks.
• Strong experience developing REST APIs and Microservices.
• Strong SQL and database development experience.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with PyTest/unit testing and automated testing.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms.
• Good understanding of OAuth2, JWT, API security, authentication, and authorization.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance-tuning skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, or equivalent cloud services.
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, LangChain, RAG, or AI-powered applications.
• Experience with Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, or Scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of Redis, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, or other caching/search technologies.
• Experience working on large-scale enterprise or distributed systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
