Senior DevOps – Capital Markets

Work model: Hybrid – 2 days per week on-site at the client’s office

Responsibilities

• Manage configuration, build, and deployment activities across non-production and production environments.
• Support the Release Manager with release notes, deployment instructions, and production runbooks.
• Provide technical support for infrastructure components, including middleware, databases, and operating systems.
• Contribute across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Perform problem-solving and root cause analysis for technical issues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and automation of build, deployment, and release processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain applications across Linux environments.

Skills

Must Have

• OpenShift: Experience with application installation, configuration, and setup.
• Deployment & Release Management: Strong understanding of deployment processes and production releases.
• CI/CD & Automation: Hands-on experience with Git, Maven, Ant, Artifactory, Jenkins, TeamCity, and/or uDeploy.
• Containers: Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Scripting: Strong Bash/Shell scripting skills.
• Linux: Good knowledge of Linux administration and commands, including files/directories, SCP, networking, and ports.
• Digital Certificates: Experience with certificate creation, installation, management, and troubleshooting.
• Databases: Good knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle.
• Linux Environments: Experience installing and upgrading applications on SUSE and/or Red Hat, including silent installers.
• Application Configuration: Ability to understand, maintain, and troubleshoot business application configurations.
• OS & Runtime Analytics: Experience with operating system and application runtime analysis.

Nice to Have

• GCP: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Scripting: Experience with Groovy, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Security & Encryption: Knowledge of WSS, PGP, or alternative encryption mechanisms.
• Programming: Knowledge of Java or a similar programming language.
