Assoc Systems Admin

Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Assoc Systems Admin to join their team. As a Assoc Systems Admin, you will be part of the IT Infrastructure Support team supporting global operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assoc Systems Admin

Location: Brownsville, TX

Pay Range: $25 - $29/hr W-2

What's the Job?

• Assist in the administration of infrastructure platforms, including Data Centers, Servers, Storage, Virtualization, Messaging, and Cloud platforms.
• Perform Windows Server administration tasks such as installation, upgrades, configuration, tuning, and monitoring.
• Maintain data storage systems and execute system backups to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Set up administrator and service accounts, document system configurations, and optimize system performance.
• Deploy and document software patches, updates, and new software installations following standard operating procedures.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic/vocational qualification.
• Previous experience or training related to IT infrastructure, ideally 0 to 2 years.
• Thorough knowledge of at least two technology services such as Windows/Linux Servers, Data Centers, Storage, Virtualization, or Cloud platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, Linux, and storage platforms.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
