Platform Engineer

Platform Engineer | Berlin | Up to €100,000 | Hybrid

We are currently working with a fast-growing software development company in Berlin that is building out its internal engineering platform and looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to join the team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building platforms from the ground up, improving developer experience and working across cloud infrastructure, automation and Kubernetes.

What you’ll be working with:

• AWS – designing, managing and optimising cloud infrastructure
• Kubernetes – building and operating containerised platforms
• CI/CD – developing and improving automated deployment pipelines
• Infrastructure as Code – ideally Terraform
• Docker / containerisation
• Cloud security, networking and infrastructure best practices
• Building internal tooling and platforms that enable developers to ship faster
• Monitoring, observability, reliability and performance

What they’re looking for:

You’ll ideally have several years’ experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure or SRE, with strong hands-on experience across AWS, Kubernetes and CI/CD.

More importantly, they’re looking for someone who enjoys building rather than simply maintaining, someone who can take ownership, make architectural decisions and help shape the platform as the engineering organisation scales.
