Role Overview

We are looking for a Container Platform Support Consultant with strong experience in Kubernetes administration, AWS EKS, container platform support, Terraform, Linux, and CI/CD. The role will focus on maintaining and supporting container platforms, resolving complex technical issues, improving platform reliability, and working across cloud and enterprise environments.

Experience with Azure AKS, SRE/Observability, OpenShift, Kafka, and banking or regulated environments will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and support Kubernetes clusters and container platforms in production environments.
  • Provide operational support for AWS EKS, including cluster health, upgrades, networking, workloads, and troubleshooting.
  • Support containerised applications and resolve L2/L3 platform incidents and technical issues.
  • Manage infrastructure and platform configuration using Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
  • Perform Linux administration, troubleshooting, patching, and performance monitoring.
  • Support and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
  • Monitor platform health, availability, capacity, and performance.
  • Apply SRE and observability practices to improve reliability and operational resilience.
  • Troubleshoot networking, storage, ingress, authentication, and workload-related Kubernetes issues.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, infrastructure, security, and application teams.
  • Contribute to platform automation, standardisation, documentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Support cloud container platforms including AWS EKS and Azure AKS.
  • Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, problem management, and production change activities.
Essential Skills
  • Strong Kubernetes Administration experience.
  • Hands-on AWS EKS experience.
  • Experience providing Container Platform Support in enterprise or production environments.
  • Strong Terraform / Infrastructure as Code experience.
  • Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Desirable Skills
  • Azure AKS

  • OpenShift
  • Kafka platform exposure
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or equivalent.
  • Experience with cloud networking, security, IAM, ingress, service mesh, and container security.
Experience
  • Strong enterprise experience supporting Kubernetes/container platforms.
  • Experience working in production and business-critical environments.
  • Banking, financial services, or other regulated-environment experience is preferred.
  • Strong incident management, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.
