DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Support and manage DevOps tooling, infrastructure and application environments.
• Automate build, deployment, configuration and operational processes.
• Work closely with development, infrastructure and operations teams to improve software delivery.
• Monitor system performance, availability and reliability and assist with troubleshooting.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and configuration management practices.
• Support cloud and/or on-premises infrastructure environments.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation, scalability, security and operational efficiency.
• Assist with incident resolution, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Follow appropriate security, governance and change-management processes.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience working as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong experience with CI/CD, automation and deployment technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Strong scripting/automation skills using technologies such as PowerShell, Bash or Python.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or equivalent.
• Experience with source control and DevOps platforms such as Git, Azure DevOps, GitLab or Jenkins.
• Understanding of containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a technical team.
