AWS DevOps Engineer

We are hiring a junior-level AWS DevOps Engineer who wants to build skills in cloud platforms and automation. You’ll help create, run, and enhance our AWS setup while working with software teams to deliver applications quickly and smoothly. The role focuses on keeping systems stable, improving release processes, and using modern DevOps methods.

Your Responsibilities

• Help design and manage AWS-based cloud systems
• Build and refine CI/CD workflows to speed up safe deployments
• Contribute to cloud-native and serverless app projects
• Collaborate with developers to simplify build and release steps
• Write Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Check cloud system health, availability, and security
• Reduce manual work by automating regular operations
• Support application rollouts using Docker
• Diagnose and fix issues in infrastructure and deployments
• Document processes, configs, and standards clearly
• Follow security policies and help protect cloud resources

Core Requirements

• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms and AWS tools
• Hands-on with Git for code management
• Understanding of how CI/CD works
• Can write scripts in Python, http://Node.js, or similar
• Familiar with DevOps culture and teamwork
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code concepts
• Basic grasp of Docker and containers
• Strong troubleshooting mindset
• Clear communication and good team skills

Added Advantage

• Hands-on with AWS Lambda or other serverless services
• Knowledge of API Gateway and API design
• Experience with Ansible, Chef, or similar tools
• Basic idea of Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS
• Familiar with cloud monitoring and log tools

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field such as http://B.Tech, BCA, MCA, or http://B.Sc preferred.
