We are looking for an experienced WooCommerce Developer with strong BaseLinker expertise to join an e-commerce integration project for one of the largest logistics companies in Europe.

In this role, you will focus on the development and maintenance of WooCommerce integrations, including connectivity with BaseLinker and external logistics services.

Your tasks

  • Developing and maintaining solutions and integrations based on WordPress and WooCommerce
  • Extending and developing WooCommerce plugins
  • Integrating WooCommerce with BaseLinker and external logistics services
  • Building and maintaining integrations using REST APIs and webhooks
  • Managing order, shipment, delivery method, and status synchronization
  • Troubleshooting and resolving integration and production issues
  • Creating custom WooCommerce functionality using hooks, actions, and filters
  • Ensuring compatibility with new versions of WordPress and WooCommerce
  • Improving the performance, stability, and security of existing integrations
  • Collaborating with product, business, and other development teams
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation for integrations

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of commercial experience with PHP
  • Strong hands-on experience in WordPress and WooCommerce development
  • Experience in developing or extending WooCommerce plugins
  • Practical experience with BaseLinker or Base.com
  • Very good understanding of REST API integrations and webhooks
  • Knowledge of WooCommerce order and checkout processes
  • Previous work with MySQL and working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience with Git
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot integration-related issues
  • Advanced level of English

Nice to have

  • Experience with e-commerce or logistics platforms
  • Familiarity with courier, shipping, or marketplace integrations
  • Knowledge of WooCommerce Blocks or Checkout Blocks
  • Experience with WooCommerce HPOS
  • Understanding of WordPress and WooCommerce coding standards
  • Experience with automated testing, e.g. PHPUnit
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and Docker
