Salary: $250k-350k

Total compensation: very flexible - dependent on performance and seniority

We're partnered with a top-tier quant trading firm hiring a Quant Developer to sit directly with analysts on their Petroleum and Natural Gas desk.

This is a quant dev / desk-engineering role where you'll turn research ideas into production-grade models and tools, working shoulder-to-shoulder with the business rather than in central technology.

Responsibilities:

• Work side-by-side with analysts to translate research concepts into production-ready models and tools
• Design and maintain analytics platforms and the underlying research infrastructure
• Build and manage data pipelines drawing from APIs, web scraping, and alternative data sources
• Create and evolve internal tools and workflows that support the research process
• Deliver lightweight visualization and UI solutions that boost analyst productivity

• Highly technical and highly analytical
• Strong technical, mathematical, and analytical skills#
• Commercial mindset
• Genuine desire to understand the business in detail and build systems that solve real problems and drive revenue
• Strong engineering fundamentals with the ability to quickly learn a new domain
