You will work on applications used daily by thousands of users and contribute directly to the digital transformation of the public sector. Together with experienced developers, architects, and domain experts, you will design and build high-performance, secure, and future-proof software solutions based on modern Java technologies.

What You Can Expect

• Develop modern web applications using Java and Spring.
• Design, implement, and continuously enhance productive software solutions.
• Develop and integrate REST-based APIs and interfaces.
• Contribute to modern security solutions involving certificates, electronic signatures, PKI, and encryption.
• Maintain and extend existing applications while implementing new business requirements.
• Work with modern development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams consisting of developers, architects, and business consultants.
• Support the creation of technical concepts and solution designs.
• Work in agile development teams with a high degree of ownership and responsibility.

What You Bring

• 3 years of initial practical experience in software development with Java.
• Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and REST APIs.
• Experience working with relational databases.
• Ideally, some experience with Angular or similar front-end technologies.
• Basic knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Interest in cloud, containerization, and DevOps technologies.
• A structured and analytical approach to work.
• Strong team spirit and enthusiasm for building high-quality software solutions together.
• Excellent English and German language skills, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of the public sector environment.
• Experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Interest in software security and modern authentication methods.
• Initial experience with AI-assisted software development.
• Linux expertise.
