We're supporting a global life sciences organisation seeking a Lab Informatics Lead to drive the evolution of their laboratory systems landscape.

This is a rare opportunity for someone who enjoys sitting at the intersection of science, technology and operations, working closely with laboratory teams, IT and external vendors to improve how scientific data is captured, managed and connected across modern laboratory environments.

The successful individual will become the recognised SME for laboratory informatics, helping shape the roadmap for LIMS, ELN and instrument connectivity across a complex biologics environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own and develop the LIMS/ELN product roadmap.
• Drive laboratory digitalisation initiatives across multiple functions.
• Lead the integration of laboratory instruments with informatics platforms.
• Work closely with scientists and laboratory leaders to understand requirements and improve workflows.
• Ensure systems support sample management, reagent tracking and scientific data integrity.
• Partner with IT and external vendors to enhance system performance and scalability.
• Identify opportunities to modernise laboratory operations through technology and automation.
• Support long-term strategy around laboratory systems architecture and connectivity.

• LIMS and/or ELN platforms.
• Laboratory Systems Management.
• Lab Informatics.
• Scientific Data Management.
• Laboratory Digitalisation.
• Product Ownership or Business Analysis within laboratory environments.

Particularly relevant platform experience includes:

• IDBS
• LabVantage
• Thermo Fisher SampleManager
• Benchling
• Other leading LIMS/ELN solutions

You'll likely have experience working within:

• Biopharma
• Biotechnology
• Biologics
• Cell & Gene Therapy
• Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
• Scientific R&D Environments
