Job Title: Senior NDT Engineer (Materials, Process & Physics)

Location: Tukwila, WA (100% Onsite)

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Pay Rate: $89 / hour on W2

Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

About the Role:

Join as a Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Engineering Specialist. You will support commercial and defense aircraft programs (737, 747, 767, 777, 787, KC-46, B1B) by developing, qualifying, and sustaining NDE procedures and measurement technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop NDE procedures and reference standards for aircraft maintenance inspections.
• Write technical engineering specifications and documentation.
• Evaluate and qualify new NDT tools, equipment, materials, and emerging technologies.
• Audit suppliers and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Apply project management, LEAN, and Quality principles to hit cost and schedule targets.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Engineering, CS, Math, Physics, or Chemistry.
• Experience: 10+ years of engineering experience (or Master's + 7 yrs / PhD + 4 yrs).
• Compliance: Must be a U.S. Person for Export Compliance.

Preferred Skills:

• 5+ years of Aerospace & NDT experience (Ultrasonics, Eddy Current, Radiography).
• Proficiency with CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks) and materials science (metals/composites).
• Strong technical writing and multi-project management skills.
