Job Summary

Idira (formerly CyberArk), now a part of Palo Alto Networks, is seeking a Senior Staff Fullstack Engineer to join our Shared services team. We build core backend services that power the modernization of our identity security products — shared services that multiple domain teams depend on. We leverage AI throughout our development process, move fast, and ship often.

In this role, you will design and implement robust backend services using AWS serverless architecture while building modern web applications. Embedded within a collaborative, cross-functional team, you will embrace our AI-driven Software Development Life Cycle (ASDLC) to deliver high-performance, secure solutions.

We are looking for a passionate engineer with exceptional interpersonal skills to help us achieve our ambitious engineering goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services in Python on AWS serverless infrastructure
• Design and consume RESTful APIs connecting distributed microservices
• Build modern web UIs using React and TypeScript
• Leverage AI tools throughout the development lifecycle to accelerate delivery
• Be a member of a highly talented cross-functional development team in an agile oriented environment
• Participate in continuous and iterative engineering cycles, emphasizing code quality, supportability, scalability, and performance
• Collaborate with domain teams to define API contracts and integration patterns

• 5+ years hands-on experience as a software engineer
• 3+ years of experience with Python
• 2+ years of experience with React (TypeScript)
• 3+ years of experience with cloud-based systems (AWS — an advantage)
• Experience with microservices systems
• Familiarity with Serverless development — an advantage
• Experience with micro-frontend architecture - an advantage
• The ability to be a team player with excellent collaboration, communication, and leadership skills
• Fast learner who is ready to learn new technologies and teach them to others
• BSc in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English, good writing skills
• Self-motivated with great interpersonal skills
