Senior Backup Solutions Architect Onsite Only W2 Profiles

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Backup Solutions Architect with strong experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Commvault, HPE Zerto, VMware, PowerShell, and major cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Architect backup solutions for VMware, AIX, HP-UX, NAS, Windows, and Linux environments.
• Configure and manage Commvault Command Center and CommCell Console.
• Design and manage HPE Zerto replication and DR solutions.
• Manage backup and recovery for AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Configure Commvault SaaS for Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Azure VMs, AWS EC2/EFS/S3, and Google Cloud Platform VMs.
• Manage storage policies, schedule policies, Aux Copies, and DDB backups.
• Configure and support IntelliSnap, Hyperscale appliances, VTL, and tape libraries.
• Support database backup solutions for Oracle, MS SQL, DB2, and PostgreSQL.
• Implement immutable/WORM storage solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate backup and recovery tasks.
• Troubleshoot backup, restore, replication, and disaster recovery issues.
• Support Auto Recovery solutions for VMware and cloud environments.

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise backup and disaster recovery.
• 5+ years of HPE Zerto experience.
• 5+ years of Commvault Command Center / CommCell Console.
• 5+ years of PowerShell scripting.
• 5+ years supporting large-scale VMware environments.
• 5+ years managing Commvault storage and schedule policies.
• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent qualifying experience.
