Java Software Engineer

About the Role

As a Java Software Engineer based in our Alabama office, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient applications using Java and related technologies. Job Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications following Agile development methodologies.


• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features.


• Write unit and integration tests using Test Driven Development (TDD) practices to ensure code quality and reliability.


• Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and share knowledge with team members.


• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing software to improve performance and user experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.


• Proven experience in Java programming and software development.


• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Test Driven Development.


• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.


• Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with C programming language.


• Knowledge of software design patterns and best practices.


• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
