Full Stack Level II - Java + React + AWS

We are seeking an Engineer II with strong experience in Java, React, and cloud technologies to join a key technology team focused on designing, building, and maintaining scalable and sustainable software solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software packages intended for deployment while contributing to the design and implementation of reliable technology solutions. You will collaborate with other software engineers and cross-functional teams to solve engineering challenges, troubleshoot systems, and continuously improve software quality.

As an Engineer II, you will contribute to feature design, code reviews, system integrations, and cloud-based solutions while applying engineering best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Software Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions using Java, React, and modern cloud technologies.
• Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with other software engineers, participate in code reviews, and contribute to engineering design and development best practices.
• Feature Design: Create, evaluate, and contribute to detailed feature designs and technical solutions.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve engineering problems while collaborating with team members and other stakeholders when needed.
• Troubleshooting: Facilitate cross-functional troubleshooting and root cause analysis, engaging additional teams when necessary.
• Agile Development: Design, develop, and implement software solutions utilizing an Agile development cycle.
• Cloud & System Integrations: Apply knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and modern system integration patterns to build reliable applications.
• Secure Development: Apply and share knowledge of secure coding practices and fundamental application security principles.

Skills

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in:
• Java (Python is a plus)
• React
• AWS / Cloud-based services
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience or familiarity with:
• Kafka
• RESTful architecture / APIs
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• CI/CD methodologies and tooling
• GitHub
• Additional programming experience with Python is a plus.
  

Education - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
