Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in Python development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python programming, object-oriented development, REST APIs, microservices, SQL, and relational databases.

Experience with modern Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI is required. Knowledge of cloud platforms, CI/CD, Git, and Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Python.
• Develop robust and maintainable solutions using object-oriented programming principles.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and microservices.
• Develop applications using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Work with SQL and relational databases to design, query, and optimize data solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and technical issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver software solutions.
• Follow software development best practices, coding standards, and design principles.
• Use Git for source code management and version control.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support CI/CD processes and application deployments.
• Work with cloud platforms and modern development tools as required.
• Perform code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of applications.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Python development.
• Strong expertise in Python programming.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Hands-on experience with one or more Python frameworks:
• Django
• Flask
• FastAPI
• Strong experience developing REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with software development, testing, and debugging.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Git and version-control practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of modern software engineering and application development practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a senior Python developer with strong software engineering fundamentals and extensive experience building scalable applications, REST APIs, and microservices. Candidates with additional cloud and CI/CD experience will be highly suitable for this opportunity.
