Cleaning Manager

As Cleaning Lead, you will be a key part of delivering the day-to-day London campus

workplace experience on behalf of our client.

Working cross-shift (afternoon to evening), you will manage the Cleaning service

across the 100,000 sqft site. This includes Housekeeping, Evening Cleaning,

Periodic Cleaning, as well as supply chain management. You will lead a team

focussed on creating a safe, productive and sustainable workplace experiences.

Responsibility for delivery of all campus Cleaning services – line managing all cleaning employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Connecting daytime, evening and weekend cleaning teams to deliver a safe and productive service.
• Effective coordination with other Livv service lines and client suppliers, e.g. M&E to deliver seamless campus user experience.
• Pure Space Office Product trainer – to train and enable the deliver of the ISS Livv Pure Space Cleaning methods.
• Regularly auditing services to maintain / improve standards, ensuring Pure Space Office compliance.
• Management of daily cleaning schedules as well as periodic planner, to meet KPIs.
• Local management of Livv-appointed specialist sub-contractors, including hosting as required.
• Management of reactive requests / escalations, allocating to correct department and ensuring actioned.
• Hands on operational Cleaning support, as required.
• Maintaining stock supplies in line with budgets.
• Health and Safety compliance – conducing risk assessments and implementing corrective measures.
• Working closely with Livv offsite Excellence team to implement new ways of working that improves experience / boost efficiencies / drives sustainability / reduce costs.
• Engaging with Livv supply chain to identify and procure the most suitable and sustainable solutions for supplierled
• FM solutions, ie waste /, consumables and specialist PPM cleaning.

Experience and Traits:

• Significant Cleaning experience obtained within leadership positions.
• Proven experience of successfully leading diverse Cleaning teams.
• Hands-on leader, willing to provide operational cleaning support to your team.
• Working flexibility, inc. outside of core hours (core working hours 1pm – 10pm)
• Strong time management, ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Positive and upbeat, customer-facing communication skills.
• Experience in coordinating / managing specialist cleaning subcontractors.
• Desire to innovate, challenge and positively make a difference to the service.
• Familiarity with latest workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Knowledge of sustainable practices, including waste.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, tenants and suppliers.
• Desirable – BICSs accreditation.
• Desirable – Spanish and Portuguese language skills.
• Desirable – Pure Space Office Product Trainer.
