Senior ServiceNow Developer

Overview

We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to support a mission-critical enterprise environment. This role will focus on designing, developing, and enhancing ServiceNow solutions that improve service delivery, automate workflows, and support business operations.

The ideal candidate brings strong ServiceNow development experience, expertise with integrations and ITSM processes, and exposure to emerging AI capabilities such as ServiceNow Now Assist.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support ServiceNow applications and workflows.
• Configure business rules, client scripts, UI policies, forms, and catalog items.
• Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Servers.
• Enhance ServiceNow modules including ITSM, CMDB, Service Catalog, Asset Management, and Knowledge Management.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and optimize performance.
• Support upgrades, governance, security, and platform administration activities.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
• Create technical documentation and support testing and deployment efforts.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing and supporting ServiceNow applications in an enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of:
• JavaScript
• Business Rules
• Client Scripts
• Flow Designer
• Service Catalog
• IntegrationHub
• REST/SOAP integrations
• Experience with ITSM and CMDB.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• Experience with ServiceNow Now Assist or AI-enabled capabilities
• Experience in federal or highly regulated environments
• Knowledge of Asset Management and Knowledge Management modules
