YOUR MISSION

Lead the Category Management team for our Q-Commerce Top Partners in Poland. You will make sure their catalogs are optimized and correctly integrated in order to maximize conversion, basket size, customer happiness and ultimately growth — and you will build, coach and scale the team that delivers it. This position requires effective interaction between our Partners, our Account Managers and the Q-Commerce teams (Groceries, Retail, Specialties), as well as analytical and technical proficiency in managing catalog tools.

THE JOURNEY

• Build, lead and develop the Category Management team in Poland (3-4 people: 1 analyst/senior analyst and 2-3 interns) — onboarding, goal setting, mentoring, and performance management
• Own the Category Management roadmap for our Top Partners across Groceries, Retail and Specialties, prioritising the initiatives with the highest business impact
• Define and own the assortment onboarding process with partners by creating/improving templates with simple but effective guidelines and ways-of-working
• Manage catalog changes requests from partners, ensuring guidelines compliance, SLA achievement, and educating & preventing partners from deviating from the expected behavior
• Define and implement an optimized catalog category tree aligned with Partners’ expectations through collaborative workshops
• Decompose partner performance (funnel, pricing, availability, assortment) to identify assortment gaps and out-of-stock drivers, and collaborate with AMs/Partners to close them with clear timelines
• Own and track your team’s KPIs (i.e. Conversion Rate, AOV, ATC, null search rate, out-of-stocks and replacement logic) and translate them into concrete actions for our Partners
• Recurrent and constant Walk the Store to detect errors or improvement opportunities in the Glovo app
• Collaborate with the Account Managers and with our Partners’ HQ CatMan teams to ensure alignment between Business and Partner’s goals
• Bridge the gap between Glovo’s and Partner’s integrations team and ensure bugs/errors are mitigated and/or quickly fixed   
• Scale the team’s impact through automation and AI: dashboards, alerts and self-serve reporting that replace manual, repetitive work

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Category Management within retail, e-commerce or FMCG, with hands-on ownership of catalog & assortment (experience with complex assortment is a strong plus)
• People management & leadership: proven experience leading, mentoring and managing the performance of a team (here you will lead 3-4 people)
• Advanced level with SQL or BI tools (advanced level in Looker is a strong plus) and comfort working with large datasets
• Experience with performance decomposition (funnel, pricing, availability, assortment) and a track record of translating data into business impact
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with exposure to senior partners and cross-functional teams
• Experience in defining solutions to complex, strategic topics with a deeply analytical and data-driven approach to issues
• Experience and ease in quickly defining creative and scalable solutions for manual/ad-hoc tasks
• Balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well
• Grittiness, never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and address something hands-on, you persevere when others fall away
• “Organization” is your middle name
• Native fluency in Polish and full proficiency in English is required
