Automotive Software Validation Engineer

We are looking for an Automotive Systems & Software Validation Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on pre-vehicle validation—ensuring software and integrated systems (propulsion and control) are robust, compliant, and production-ready using MIL, SIL, and HIL test environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Validation & Testing: Define and execute software qualification, system integration, and regression tests.
• Environment Management: Configure and maintain HIL, SIL, MIL, and simulation test benches (including multi-ECU setups).
• Traceability: Derive test cases from requirements, ensuring full traceability in compliance with ASPICE and ISO 26262.
• Automation & Triage: Develop automated test scripts using Python and CAPL; perform root cause analysis and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve defects.

Requirements & Experience

• Experience: 2+ years in automotive software qualification, system integration, or validation.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of automotive E/E architectures and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay).
• Hands-on Tools: Experience with HIL-based testing, Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, dSPACE, and test management tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion, Jira).
• Education: Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

Desirable

• Familiarity with EV propulsion systems and charging protocols.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ISO/SAE 21434 (Cybersecurity).
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink (MIL) and ETAS INCA.
