The opportunity

The ServiceNow Developer will be integral to the development, configuration, and enhancement of ServiceNow applications across various modules, with a preference for candidates who have experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) modules.

Your key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications and workflows.
• Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate rollout of new applications and modules.
• Configure and improve existing ServiceNow solutions, with a focus on GRC modules where applicable.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
• Ensure best practices are followed during the development and testing phases.
• Assist with the integration of ServiceNow with other systems and tools.
• Provide technical support and expertise during the deployment and post-implementation stages.
• Keep abreast of the latest ServiceNow updates and technologies, with a willingness to grow expertise in GRC.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 1-3 years of experience in ServiceNow development.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification is highly desirable.
• Experience with GRC modules within ServiceNow is preferred.
• Understanding of financial services compliance and regulatory requirements in Malaysia is advantageous.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and other relevant web technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
