We are currently seeking an experienced Embedded Security Engineer to join a technically focused engineering team based in Stuttgart, Germany.
Role: Embedded Security Engineer
Location: Stuttgart, Germany
Salary: Up to €90,000
Language: German at B2 level or above
Eligibility: Candidates must be eligible to work on projects subject to applicable security and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement security solutions for embedded systems.
- Analyse embedded systems and identify potential security vulnerabilities and risks.
- Implement security measures across the embedded software lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain secure software using C/C++ and relevant embedded technologies.
- Conduct security assessments, threat modelling and risk analysis.
- Support secure boot, encryption, authentication and key management solutions.
- Perform vulnerability analysis and support the remediation of identified security issues.
- Work closely with embedded software, hardware and systems engineering teams.
- Contribute to security testing, verification and validation activities.
- Stay up to date with relevant embedded security standards, technologies and best practices.
- Produce and maintain technical and security documentation.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Embedded Security Engineer with strong commercial experience in embedded systems and cybersecurity.
You should have a good understanding of embedded security principles, secure software development and vulnerability analysis, alongside experience working within a technically complex engineering environment.
B2 German language skills are required.
Due to the nature of the projects, candidates will need to meet the relevant security, eligibility and regulatory requirements associated with the role.
