We are seeking a Senior Developer to work in Global Markets risk technology team for one of our investment banking client. The candidate should have relevant experience in global markets domain along with strong C# expertise and willingness to expand into Python development to support enterprise-grade financial applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C#/.NET technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives
- Enhance existing systems and contribute to modernization initiatives, including adoption of Python-based services
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
- Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with C and .NET framework/core
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture
- Exposure to databases (SQL Server or similar)
- Willingness and ability to learn and work with Python
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in financial services or banking domain
- Familiarity with Python development (nice to have)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
