About the Role

Bedrock Logistics is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join our team and help build, maintain, and improve the technology that powers our logistics operations.

We run on a combination of internally developed software and SaaS platforms, and this role will focus on keeping those systems connected while continuously improving the custom tools our operators rely on every day.

You'll work on integration infrastructure, internal applications, and product enhancements that directly impact how efficiently our teams operate. When our systems are slow, confusing, or disconnected, it costs us time and money — your work will help solve those problems.

We build primarily with Go and HTMX. This is a server-rendered application environment; we do not use React SPAs and are not planning to introduce one.

What You'll Work On

Command & Control

Our internal operator platforms used to manage day-to-day operations, including:

• Employee tools and integration status
• Settings, credentials, and system health
• Live queue monitoring
• Bulk operations involving large and messy datasets
• Building new screens and features as business needs evolve

Business Central Integrations

You'll help develop and maintain integrations with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, automating processes such as:

• Accounts receivable and accounts payable invoices
• Payments
• Vendor master data
• Customer master data

Additional Integrations

As business needs evolve, you'll work with additional third-party systems and technologies, including:

• Highway
• TAI
• EDI / X12 over SFTP
• REST and JSON APIs
• OAuth2 authentication and other third-party integrations

What We're Looking For

Strong Programming Fundamentals

We use modern development tools to streamline our work, but we're looking for someone with a strong foundation in software engineering principles and best practices.

You should understand:

• SOLID principles
• Maintainable and scalable code
• Clean architecture and design
• Debugging and problem-solving
• Writing code that is easy for other developers to understand and maintain
• How to review and improve AI-assisted or generated code when it doesn't meet engineering standards

Server-Rendered Web Development

Our applications are built using Go, HTMX, and Go templates.

You should be comfortable:

• Building server-rendered web applications
• Working with HTML and templates
• Keeping application logic in Go rather than templates
• Taking a feature from database/schema design through backend logic and UI
• Creating intuitive interfaces for users who may interact with the same screen dozens of times per day

API & Systems Integration

You should be comfortable working with other people's APIs and documentation.

Experience should include:

• REST APIs
• JSON
• Authentication and authorization
• OAuth2 client credentials
• Troubleshooting HTTP 400-level errors
• Mapping internal business data to external API requirements
• Reading and interpreting third-party API documentation

Nice-to-Have Experience

The following are a plus, but not required:

• Professional Go development experience
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Microsoft Dynamics GP or another mid-market ERP
• Microsoft Entra app registrations
• Microsoft identity and admin consent
• App-only authentication tokens
• Freight, transportation, or TMS experience
• EDI X12, particularly 204, 210, 214, 990, and 997 transactions
• SFTP integrations
• General IT knowledge and willingness to assist with occasional IT helpdesk needs
