Frontend Software Engineer

Altamira is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to support our National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC) customer. You will bridge the gap between design and implementation, translating UI/UX designs from our designer and PO into maintainable code within existing applications. In this role you will ensure a high level of frontend polish and champion performant UI implementations. You will partner directly with Product Owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional engineers to clarify functional and non-functional requirements. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of modernizing and maintaining angular projects and possesses the communication skills to advise and discuss tradeoffs between implementation choices.

Experience

• Extensive experience with Cesium and Angular
• Experience with Typescript, JavaScript, Docker, git, PrimeNG
• Nice to haves: Experience with ElasticSearch, Node.js, Docker Swarm, GitLab CI/CD, Python, Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana, and Traefik

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or similar) from an accredited college or university
• At least 4 years of experience in Software Engineering
• Active TS/SCI Clearance
