POSITION OVERVIEW

In this context, we are searching for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to develop existing and new application such as:

- Track and trace of luxury goods anchored on Ethereum-based private blockchain technology

- Digital Product Passports (DPP) and sustainability attributes for physical products

- Projects for various use-cases including customer loyalty and authentication programs.

- Supply-chain traceability flows with cryptographic (Merkle) on-chain anchoring.

- Applications interacting with public and private blockchains, IPFS, and Web3 wallet integrations.

You will work across a TypeScript repo, from NestJS / Express APIs and event-driven workers down to Next.js / React front-ends, collaborating with backend, frontend, and blockchain engineers. You will also own your services end to end, including their build, deployment and maintenance on our platform.

JOB SUMMARY

The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Develop and maintain TypeScript-based backend services, REST APIs (Express + TSOA, NestJS), event-driven workers (Azure Service Bus, BullMQ/Redis), and persistence layers (MSSQL/Sequelize, PostgreSQL/Drizzle).
• Build and evolve front-end applications with Next.js, React, TanStack Query, Zustand, and Tailwind CSS, ensuring a strong security, accessibility, and performance profile.
• Deploy and operate your services on Azure: environment and configuration management, secret handling via Key Vault, database migrations, versioning and rollback strategies, zero-downtime release practices.
• Contribute to the day-to-day maintenance of the platform: dependency and runtime upgrades, technical debt reduction, pipeline reliability, monitoring and alerting on the services you own, and root-cause analysis of production issues.
• Interact with our private network from the application layer.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code following industry best practices (Jest, Vitest, Playwright); contribute to clean/hexagonal-architecture practices where they apply.
• Strive for simplicity and maintainability across a codebase that spans two ORMs, multiple service families, and an in-flight migration strategy.
• Collaborate with other developers, designers, project managers, blockchain engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure delivery of high-quality projects.
• Participate in the support rotation for the applications you work on.

YOUR PROFILE

· Strong software development skills: JavaScript / TypeScript / Node.js, plus modern React.

· 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with meaningful exposure to both backend and frontend work.

· Solid experience with REST API design (Express, NestJS, or similar) and relational databases / ORMs (SQL, Sequelize, Drizzle, or equivalent).

· Strong experience writing and maintaining automated tests (unit, integration, e2e).

· Comfortable in a monorepo / multi-service environment and with containerized environment development (Docker).

· Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps: building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (YAML) and deploying containerized services to Azure (AKS, App Service).

· Solid understanding of blockchain principles, with a specific grasp of private / permissioned networks: consensus mechanisms, block finality, transaction lifecycle and nonce management, transaction pool behaviour, key and identity management, private transactions and data confidentiality, and the trust and governance model of a permissioned chain compared to a public one.

Additional Experience / Knowledge

· Blockchain development experience, in any public or private blockchain system.

· Practical experience with a permissioned chain, validator sets, private transactions, network governance, is a strong plus.

· Ethereum / Web3 knowledge or practical development skills (ethers.js / viem / web3.js, wallet integrations).

· Solidity smart contract development experience (Foundry/Forge, OpenZeppelin) is a plus.

· Experience with event-driven / message-oriented architectures (Azure Service Bus, BullMQ, transactional outbox, FIFO/session ordering).

· DevOps / Cloud / Platform engineering skills, Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), Azure (Service Bus, Blob Storage, Key Vault, AI Search), CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

· Familiarity with observability tooling (Sentry, OpenTelemetry, Pino/Winston).

· Exposure to multi-tenant SaaS patterns and IPFS / decentralized storage is a bonus.
