Senior Full Stack Engineer - (Java+Angular)

As a Senior Full-stack Engineer, you will develop and maintain web applications for our Client, a European public sector organisation. You will take ownership of features across the full solution, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable delivery while connecting front-end and back-end development. You will also solve complex issues reaching the production environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack features, from responsive user interfaces and APIs to server-side business logic and database interactions
• Take ownership of application security, performance, scalability, and maintainability, applying data protection and security best practices
• Collaborate with front-end and back-end engineers and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive integration across all system components
• Build and secure APIs and interoperability solutions, and contribute to scalable application and system architecture
• Write clean, maintainable code and ensure its quality through unit and integration testing, debugging, validation, and static code analysis
• Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments using CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and orchestration technologies
• Provide Level 3 production support by analysing application logs, database data, and the document repository, resolving issues and maintaining technical documentation

• 10 years of experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, and 5 years with Angular 14+
• 10 years of experience with Java 17+ and Spring, including Spring 6+, Spring Boot 3+, and JPA/Hibernate, plus knowledge of JSF, EJB, and Quarkus
• 10 years of experience with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimisation, plus experience with Elasticsearch and distributed databases such as Apache Ignite
• Experience designing and securing interoperability solutions using Apache Kafka, together with Apache NiFi and Hexagonal Architecture; knowledge of JAX-WS/JAX-RS is an asset
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Microsoft Azure, including cloud deployment and integration of front-end and back-end builds into CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with JUnit and SonarQube; Cucumber and a good understanding of Test Driven Development are assets
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo, together with good knowledge of Agile principles and practical experience with Scrum
• A master's-level university degree (or 5 years of higher education) and a minimum of 10 years of IT professional experience; Oracle Java/Web Component Developer certifications are considered assets
• Very good English at B2+ level (CEFR), with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in multilingual teams, quickly ramp up on new projects, and apply security and cloud best practices; French is an asset
