We’re looking for an experienced Applications Engineer to join our growing team in Germany.

This is a role for someone who already knows their way around complex technical applications, understands customers, and enjoys solving problems that require genuine engineering expertise.

You won’t be joining simply to maintain the status quo.

You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of technically challenging projects, work directly with leading customers and influence the solutions we deliver.

What you’ll be doing

• Work directly with customers to understand complex technical requirements and develop the right applications and solutions.
• Provide high-level technical support throughout the customer journey.
• Work closely with sales, engineering, product development and customers to turn technical challenges into successful solutions.
• Lead technical discussions, presentations and product demonstrations.
• Evaluate applications, identify opportunities and recommend technically and commercially viable solutions.
• Support new projects from initial specification through to implementation.
• Develop strong, long-term relationships with key customers.
• Act as a technical expert and trusted advisor within your market.
• Feed customer and market requirements back into our engineering and product teams.

What we’re looking for

You’ll already have solid experience in an Applications Engineering, Systems Engineering, Technical Sales Engineering or similar technical role.

You’ll bring:

• Strong engineering and technical problem-solving ability.
• Experience working with industrial customers and complex applications.
• The confidence to communicate with engineers, technical specialists and senior decision-makers.
• A practical, customer-focused approach to engineering.
• The ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Strong communication skills in German and English.
• A genuine interest in understanding how things work and finding better solutions.
