Job Title: Catia Designer 3 – Aerospace

Location: Everett, WA

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Work Schedule: 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Target Rate: $49 / hr on W2

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Designer 3 to join the Payloads Engineering Organization. In this role, you will help design, develop, and integrate commercial aircraft interiors, systems, cargo compartments, and exterior markings across the complete product lifecycle—from initial customer configuration through production and certification.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and modify interior payload system and component designs using 3D CAD tools.
• Assist in developing and documenting structural and interior system design requirements.
• Collaborate with project engineering, production operations, management, and suppliers to define and deliver engineered solutions.
• Help create and refine design/analysis processes and tools to improve efficiency and design quality.
• Support product validation, verification, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing integration.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in a relevant technical or engineering field.
• Training: Successful completion of required on-the-job or classroom training.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in a related technical discipline.
• CAD & Software: Hands-on experience with CATIA v5/v6, Model-Based Systems Engineering, Relational Design, or programming languages (Visual Basic, Python, Java).
• Domain Expertise: 2–5+ years of experience in aerospace interiors, materials/properties, design release, and regulatory compliance validation.
• Manufacturing Support: Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and supporting real-time production/manufacturing environments.
