.Net Developer

We are seeking an experienced .Net Developer with 6 to 10 years of expertise in ServiceNow, .NET APIs, SQL, and .NET application development to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise solutions within the Healthcare Provider domain. The ideal candidate will drive technical delivery, ensure platform stability, and collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver scalable, secure, and ITIL-aligned solutions that improve operational efficiency and stakeholder experience.

In This Role, You Will

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment with ITIL processes and provider domain business requirements.
• Architect and develop .NET APIs and enterprise integrations that enable secure, reliable, and scalable data exchange across platforms.
• Drive SQL database design, query optimization, and data management activities to support reporting, analytics, and operational performance.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of .NET applications, enforcing coding standards, architecture best practices, and application security.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions and successful project deliveries.
• Mentor technical team members, support incident and problem management activities, and promote automation, continuous improvement, and platform reliability.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3-4 days a week in a client office in Hartford, CT. What You Need To Have To Be Considered

• 6+ years of experience in enterprise application development with strong expertise in ServiceNow, .NET APIs, SQL, and .NET technologies.
• Hands-on knowledge of ITIL frameworks, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management processes.
• Proven experience designing and supporting integrated enterprise solutions using APIs, relational databases, and ServiceNow platforms.
• Strong proficiency in SQL development, including data modeling, performance tuning, query optimization, and database administration concepts.
• Experience working within the Healthcare Provider domain, including provider management, eligibility, claims, enrollment, or related workflows.

Salary And Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $ 55350 to $ 82000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
